Loving all your bird photos. it’s not often I get some great pics of NZ birds, they are usually very quick.
i think using a tour guide when birding is very important. you captured some really great images…the birds are so pretty!! i have been by before now and tried to leave a comment and was not able. or maybe i did and finnally figures it out!! so nice to see you today!!

What a surprise, you are back and me too, although I was not really absent but I was like a robot. In some way blogging helped me over the last terrible 5 years. Parts of it I have a real black out. Now I get better slowly slowly and I love my new life in the castle. Since the passing of Rick my COPD has worsened and I couldn’t stay in the apartment alone, I fell, I couldn’t do anything physically, I got breathless immediately. Now I feel safe, and still hope that it will get better so that at least I could do some little travels again. That’s what I miss. Fortunately we have this wonderful park here. And I could take my little cat Rosie with me, she is now 19 years old, but is in good health, she is happy here, she is the only cat and the staff loves her ! You also had some changes in your life, I have to read it !

Costa Rica looks incredible! So much wildlife. Must have been amazing to see the sloth and some of the other critters.
