At the end of September 2025 our blogging platform, Typepad, went out of business. We got a month’s notice of the shutdown. One month — 30 days — to save over 25 years of our memories: 1,777 posts; thousands of pictures and 52,000 generous comments.
Saving those memories was my first concern — and I would never have figured out how to do it without the help of our computer-savvy son. Geoff was able to save all our posts including the comments and then import them into WordPress. I am beyond grateful.
Because I do want to continue blogging if I am to reach my self-imposed goal of becoming the world’s oldest living photo-blogger, Geoff’s next step was/is to teach me to blog on WordPress. My learning curve is slow but I’m working on it.
Meanwhile, we’re still making new memories and taking pictures. With luck, I’ll continue blogging about them
