MIRROR MIRROR

THIS POST IS LINKED TO YARD ART ON THURSDAY  –  AND  WEEKEND REFLECTIONS.

This framed mirror has been hanging on a mobile home at Fern Ridge Shores for as long as we've been coming here.

There's never anybody at home there when we walk by — I'd like to ask them about it.

(Taken today, November 10 — still some golden days in between the rainy ones.)

  9. It does make you wonder why a mirror is hanging outside. Thats a great reflection shot.

  12. We’ve had “golden days” here in the Northeast too! Perfect yard art for our meme! 🙂

  13. Very interesting capture. An outdoor mirror is rare in my experience. I would want to know the story as well.
I would have been knocking on doors in the neighborhood until I met someone who could enlighten me.
Thanks for visiting my old gas pump. I do so appreciate those that stop by but a comment is like icing on the cake.

  14. This is really special. Maybe someday you will learn its story.

  15. That is an interesting mirror, it does a good job of reflecting the sky.
I read why your lake disappears. It is similar with the hydro-electric reservoirs where my husband used to work. The trick was to drain them down low enough to receive the spring runoff without leaving the fish high and dry. Oh yes, they also wanted to make sure they had water for generation. There was a lot to take into consideration.

  16. Talking about weather..forgot to add…London is not as cold as Haxel in the Midlands but only JUST warmer!x lynda

  17. It is a beautiful mirror..hand-made l expect. If you ever find out please let me knowxx Great imaghexlynda

  18. You have a good eye, Sallie, to think of capturing the golden trees in the mirror. Very effective. Since we’re talking weather around the world, I’ll add that it was 45 degrees this morning in northern California. For here that’s chilly.

I do like the reflection of the great outdoors in the lovely willow mirror.
(Pam is very lucky if it’s in the 50F’s. It was 0C in UK Midlands this morning!!!)

  20. What a beautiful willow mirror, Sallie. It is perfect for the outside and reflects nature in a lovely way.
We have had a few cool nights in the low 50s brr.. I don’t like it at all!
Be well, be happy and keep warm like a bug in a rug 🙂
