Sometimes, a sign can be very useful in explaining something you would never have been able to figure out without reading it.
This was not one of those times.
(We saw this house on Sullivan Street in Punta Gorda, FL. — it was a Sunday and there was nobody around to ask for further information.)

I notice the newspaper box on the porch so it must be a commercial building of some sort! Nice capture! Maybe a restaurant?
It does seem a bit redundant, doesn’t it.
it does stand out, that’s for sure. of course, now they can’t ever paint it on a whim to something more subtle, or sedate … or mature.

maybe someone once referred to it as a PINK house, and the owners got annoyed enough…!

I use to live near a intersection with a purple house. Not as bold or as nice as this but it sure made giving directions so much easier.
I do wonder though way the sign. Must be some sort of business. Perhaps a Spa?
Oh, that’s wonderful! I would love to have a discussion with the homeowners myself, to find out what they were thinking…LOL!
