Because we got to tour inside the home this time, I took some pictures of the views Thomas and Mina enjoyed.   Who knows what creative ideas came to him while he looked out at the Caloosahatchie River…

This porch is off Edison's upstairs bedroom.  There's only one chair — he was the only one who ever used the porch.   Apparently, while the rest of the family were more active,  he sat and thought quite a lot.  Lucky for all of us!

    How creative of you to take pictures out the window. It does extend the experience of a historic house visit when you think about what they did inside that house. They certainly would have looked out at those lovely views. Thanks for this post.
