Naples Pier, the Gulf of Mexico.  And then, below, about 20 miles Southeast, the edge of the Everglades.

Just a recent day trip from Upriver — a loop drive.  We had fun walking on the beach, looking at the shops and homes in Naples and Marco island and then driving past the edge of the Everglades before circling back home.

    I’m not a huge fan of FL, but have been to Naples and Marco Island a few times and fell in luv with those areas. I’d give a lot to be out on that long dock right about now….it’s cold and raining here and the sky doesn’t look a bit like the one in your beautiful photo. Enjoy.
