The world is kind of topsy-turvy right now.    Sometimes its hard to tell what's up and what's down. 

You can't even count on consistency from certain politicians who are now crying out for government intervention.   Oh wait — although that's mind-boggling inconsistency, it's not suprising news at all. 

Beach014-2 Yes, the politicans are suddenly crying out for more government help to solve the oil spill disaster. 

Just a few weeks ago, weren't they saying that private industry and de-regulation could be counted on to solve all our problems?

 Uh….ooooops!   Now they need government intervention.  Industry is hurting. 

And yes, the oil spill sheen has reached Florida (North of us, in the panhandle). 

The news is depressing.

Even if you do, the blue sky is reflected back in all its beauty.

    One of my favourite sights is that of a blue sky with white clouds shining up at me from a puddle, or upside down trees diving down into a pond or lake. Thanks, too, for adding that little voice of hope to all the negativity that seems to pervade the world these days.

    Absolutely beautiful!! You started my morning with pure pleasure today. Great photos. Your ditty on the oil catastrophe is right on….it’s all about money and greed. In one aspect or another, no matter if it’s industry, government, conservatives or liberals.

    Nice reflection. And I can’t agree more on the commentary. Just look at the global financial meltdown, and how the industry titans dealt with it. Now that the bailout has passed the burden onto to the masses, and business is booming again, they want to get right back to where they left off, knowing the risks of failure are minimal as long as they made sure the failure would be so big, someone has to come to their rescue…
