We went to lunch at Fort Myers Beach the other day and I snapped these iconic Florida trailer houses as we walked into the restaurant. After we ate, one of our friends pointed out that the gift shop there had paintings of this exact scene for sale. I was happy I'd snapped my own.

I remember when my son took a high school field trip to Disney World he came back and I was wearing a shirt of many different colored pastels. He just shook his head and said you just don’t know. He loved the pastels colors he saw.
Oops, forgot to mention that we finally got our camper. Hope to be on the road by spring. I will be in touch if we ever get to your part of the world.

I have always loved collecting photos of all the brightly colored houses in other parts of the world. I would have been beside myself to find this shot before me here in the US.
I keep telling my hubby that I wish I could get all the condos in my complex to do the same. He claims it would never fly.

I’ve stayed in Fort Myers – it’s one of the few places in the USA that I’ve visited. I loved to drive to Sanibel. Thanks for bringing back happy memories.
